Previous | NextMerseysides love affair with the Titan didn't start with the ex London examples. BCK706R was taken on extended hire in the 70s and gained full MPTE livery. It recieved fleet number 0029 for its stay. Here it is seen whilst still to dual door configuration. At some point during its stay on Merseyside it was converted to single door although wheather Leyland did this or Hodge Lane works is unknown. MPTE cancelled their Titan orders when the Park Royal factory ran into difficulty and continued to buy Atlanteans.
